I’m unable to segment my list by using the condition ‘Orders (Total #)’

When I try to create a segment using that on my list, using ‘is’ ‘2’ it returns no results.

I definitely have repeat buyers who have bought twice on my list. You can even see multiple purchases in their profiles.

I’ve been told from MC support this has something to do with auto-incrementing not working with this plugin.

Any idea when this will be fixed?

Hi @empressed, thanks for reaching out. I’ve done some testing on my end and all seems to check out with the incrementing and segments. I’ve tested with several unique users, placed second orders and the segment order # = 2 populates as expected in the MailChimp UI.

Since you’re still having trouble, let’s go back and check out some of the basics:

    – What plugin version are you running?
    – Is your site self-hosted, or is it a wordpress.com business account?
    – What version of WooCommerce are you running?
    – Is there any logging errors in the plugin’s logs tab (when it’s set to standard or debug)?
    – Have you tried a fresh uninstall or reinstall?

Thanks in advance for these details. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

    – Kyle

Hi @khungate thanks for the reply.

So surprised that this is working for you. I’ve had this issue for 3 months now. I have been in touch with MC support throughout this time, they keep telling me that this is an issue with the plugin, that they are aware of the issue and that developers are working on this.

I have the latest version of the plugin (2.1.7).
    The site is self-hosted.
Our woocommerce version is a couple behind the current release, but we have tested this over the past few months with the latest version.
I cant see any relevant errors in the log.
Yes we have done multiple fresh uninstalls and reinstalls

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We have automations that we cannot use because of this problem.

    Thanks

@empressed, do you have a support ticket ID you can share? We’d like to research further. In our testing environment, this is not an open issue so we’d like to understand where the confusion is with that communication.

Also, just curious, who is your site hosted with?

    Hi @khungate

    Yes I do.

My Mailchiomp support ticket number is #3810321 (but I have had so many so can provide others if that doesnt show you everything).

The site is hosted with Siteground.

I’d really appreciate you looking into this. I am desperate to get this working.

    Thanks

    Hi @khungate

Just wondering if there was an update with this?

Hi @empressed, not yet. I hope to hear something back later this week.

@empressed, thanks for your continued patience. I wanted to let you know we were finally able to pinpoint this issue.

In short, account holders pass data correctly for segments, but we need to issue a patch for folks that check out as guests. Data is rendered correctly in the profile area of the customer but does not appear as described when creating a segment.

We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention and apologize for any confusion. It’s scheduled to be in our 2.1.9 release which should see some movement in the next few weeks.

Hi @khungate Thank you for the update.

That’s brilliant that you can see the issue – and yes that’s exactly the problem. Thank you for looking at this closely for me.

    Really looking forward to 2.1.9!

@empressed, v2.1.9 was released today and should address the issue you brought up. I’d recommend performing a fresh install and resync your store to reflect the updates when creating a segment.

Please let us know if you need additional help and also consider leaving us a positive review if the plugin is performing well for your business. We really appreciate your help with everything!
