Unable to see events displayed in sidebar via widget

I just tried the widget and the events display for me but not in ascending order.

Does it work correctly for you if you use shortcode?

Where do I place the shortcode?

Do I place it in one of the widget fields? (that’s what I had to do with another plugin).

If so, which field? I tried the Information field, but all that did was display that actual characters of the short code in the sidebar.

The widget should list events by itself. As you can see you can select which events to show; upcoming, past, current or all events. With the widget attributes field (and the separate settingspage) you can personalize your events list.

I notice a 404 (nothing found) when I click the event link in your sidebar. To solve this please reset (resave) your permalink setting.

Thank you for catching this. I was under the impression that the title was linked to the website for that event, not a page my own.

Since I’m not maintaining a separate event page and only want to display events in the sidebar, I unchecked the Link to Title setting and added back the More Info hotlinked to the event site.

Great plugin, now that I’ve finally figured out what I’m doing!
