Unable to see and edit photos in “Images” section

    Hi,

    I am using WordPress version 4.9.7, the free WordPress theme Art Gallery and installed the free version of Final Tiles Gallery 3.3.43. My website is under construction and not published yet.

    When trying to edit my first gallery of photos in the “Images” section of the plugin no images appear individually after the BULK ACTIONS and LIST VIEW section of this menu.

    I selected both the Final Tiles and Masonry layouts and the same issue occurs.

    Why can’t I see the photos in this menu?

    Is there a conflict with this theme and plug-in?

    Is there a setting which needs to be adjusted?

    Any assistance would greatly be appreciated.

  • I have the same problem! I have been using final tiles for a while now and never had this problem.
    Suddenly it won’t load the pictures in my galleries in de editing area. They are still visible on my site, but when I try to add more pictures or anything, they also disapear from my site.

    It’s so strange!

    Did you ever figure it out?

    Common causes for this issue can be:

    • web site changed URL
    • web site switched to HTTPS
    • images have been moved/deleted

    if you can share your web site I can have a look at it.

    Hi Diego, Thank you for the reply.
    I dit not change URL, The images also have not been moved and I don’t know what HTTPS is, so I don’t think I did it on purpose if this is the case.

    I have found the solution! The plugin needed an update. Silly! But I did check for updates at the plugin page, but it wasn’t visible there. I suddenly noticed that it did need an update in my own overview of installed plugins.

    OK, this is very confusing. I have updated the final tiles plugin and now I can see the images again in the editing area.

    But:

    ALL content on the page where I use final tiles, is gone. The pages content is all still there in my dashboard, but on the website it’s just an empty page. Even the plain text is gone.

    Hi Diego, did you get a change to look at my website? I still did not figure out how to get the content back on the page where I use final tiles. What happened is, I had the problem that pictures were not showing in the editing erea of final tiles, but I found an update, did the update and I was happy to see that everything looked normal again in the editing area.

    BUT

    Everything disapeared from the page. In the dashboard area everything is still there, but on the online page, nothing is showing, just a blank page.

    As I said in the other thread, the plugin is not active currently.

    Thank you @greenlabs, the problem changed into something else, so I made a new topic. I will stop asking questions in this topic.
