Firstly, thank you for great plugin!!

Issue is related to swiping the screen on mobile devices to vertically scroll the screen. If the user attempts vertical swipe in the slider area then the swipe does not work, so screen does not scroll. On my home page the slider is positioned in the most prominent touch area of screen, so user experience is that the screen is locked. I’ve observed this behavior in the past as being somewhat flakey (i.e. maybe works if try swiping a few times), but I’ve just noticed that issue is now always existing, which coincides with a sudden increase in bounce-rate stats (+15%) the day after SA update to 2.1.0. My apologies if issue is not actually with SA. Thank you.
    Regards,
    Sean

Hi, there are 2 settings within the Slide Anything settings that you may want to disable (or play around with):
    – Mouse Drag
    – Touch Drag
Hover over the “i” (info) icons to see what these do.

    Thank you for reply.

Firstly, using the terminology as in your info pop-ups, what I need/expect is vertical screen scrolling on mobile devices by touching screen within SA area and dragging up/down.

Both items were checked. The info for these settings are as follows:
    – Mouse Drag: Allow navigation to previous/next slides by holding down left mouse button and dragging left/right.
    – Touch Drag: Allow navigation to previous/next slides on mobile devices by touching screen and dragging left/right.

I confirmed that both items do exactly as described. In fact, I did review the settings before submitting the support ticket, but hadn’t considered changing these settings as according to their description they didn’t seem related. Plus I also wish both settings enabled.

However, when I disabled Mouse Drag I then found that on mobile devices I could scroll the screen by touching screen within SA area and dragging up/down. But of course, this means that on a desktop/laptop device the user is now unable to perform Mouse Drag.

So for me, disabling Mouse Drag allows vertical screen scrolling on mobile devices. I’m mostly concerned for mobile traffic so it gets me out of trouble. Thank you for the suggestion. But it’s not really a clean solution. Is there possibility of future fix for this? If not, then should the info text be updated to explain the behavior?

Thanks again for the prompt reply and suggestions.

Thanks, I came across this when searching for the same issue.
Is there anyway we can have the mouse scroll enabled for the PC while at the same time allowing swipe scroll for page over the SA area for mobile devices?

Slide Anything is built on top of the Owl Craousel jQuery plugin. The functionality I provide within my plugin are the options available within Owl Carousel – see here:
    https://owlcarousel2.github.io/OwlCarousel2/docs/api-options.html

So the 2 checkboxes in question relate to the ‘mouseDrag’ and ‘touchDrag’ options with Owl Carousel. These can contain either true or false (on/off) values, so I’m not too sure what else I can do here.
