Unable to save with enable short code

  • Hi,

    I have installed a free version and tried to create a slider. Unfortunately if I enable short code it doesn’t save a slider. All settings which I created resume to a default value. If I disable the short code it save as normal.

    Could you please advise why it happen?

    What happens if you remove the shortcode/s from the slider content, save, then enable shortcodes checkbox and save again?

    What is the shortcode being added? (which plugin?)

    I can confirm that behavior. If I disable the shortcodes and activate them again it works – until I save again.

    Basically it behaves like this:
    – I create 10 Slides with the woocommerce shortcode [product id=”99″]
    – I check “Allow Shortcodes”
    – After saving everything looks good on the Homepage
    – but all settings in the backend are set back to the default value (3 slides with the placeholder “slide content”)
