I understand that a client wants to change their payment method but are encountering the above error message when doing so, is this correct?

Please could you provide additional information on this so that we can assist you more effectively:

1. Is this a recurring issue, or an isolated issue for one customer?
2. Are you able to reproduce this issue on your end?
3. A screenshot of the error message being displayed on the front end (if possible).

Snipboard.io can be used for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

Also, can you navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → Stripe, click on Manage → Settings → Advanced Settings and enable “Log error messages” under Debug mode.

Next, can you try and reproduce the issue and then navigate to WooCommerce → Status → Logs and share any fatal errors found there.

Additionally, could you please share a copy of your sites System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you have these, please share them in your response here.

I had the log enabled but in the logs archive I cannot see any related to this issue with the plugin, only a general fatal error, this one, related to another plugin:

As the next step, please switch the site theme temporarily to Storefront, and disable all plugins except WooCommerce and Stripe.

Check again to see if the issue persists, if not, it means that a conflict was affecting it, and you can reactivate the original theme, and then the rest of the plugins one by one until you find the cause of the issue.

I recommend asking the customer to check with their bank since the problem is related to a specific card.

Furthermore, if you enable the error logs for the extension, as previously mentioned, then request the customer to add the card again. You may find an error in the logs that explains why the card saving was declined.

Alternatively, you can ask the customer to make a normal order and tick this box instead of adding the card through the “My Account” page.

This is pointing to the plugin YITH WooCommerce Checkout Manager: por YITH – 1.25.0 just to clarify was a conflict test performed? If you disable YITH WooCommerce Checkout Manager temporarily, does the issue persist? I recommend to reach out to the YITH WooCommerce Checkout Manager support to get more information about the error in the browser console.
