Unable to save draft or publish page with ngg included

  • WP 3.8.1 NGG version 2.0.40, Photocrati Theme version 4.7.3

    I have created a page which displays fine if I click the preview button (saved as draft). I have also created a NG gallery and uploaded images without problem.

    However, when I add the gallery to the blank page (using the Attach To Post button) the gallery thumbnail displays OK but I can not save the page or publish it. Doing so results in the site giving a Not Found error.

    The site currently has a number of photocratti galleries/albums active but I assume there is no conflict between these?

    @obscure – We have no outstanding issues with the baseline installation you referenced but there could be a plugin conflict that you are experiencing.

    If that is the case, you may see some benefit to trying our latest beta version. You can find more information about it here: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/

    Not a plugin conflict. I have deactivated all my plugins and tested and the problem still occurs.

    Tried the beta version of NGG you linked to but that doesn’t make any difference.

    @obscure – Did you also check if this still happens if you temporarily change to a default WordPress Twenty series theme?
