unable to retrieve my mailchimp lists

    Just updated the plugin and wordpress and I’ve just noticed that the plugin is not showing any of my mailchimp info and it shows I have no lists (I do have).
    If I go to Easy Forms -> Settings – where I’m requested to add my api key, I see that the site is Connected with mailchimp. I’ve re-saved my api key, I’ve added a new list in my mailchimp, nothing worked, I still get my empty data for my mailchimp and no lists are retrieved.

    If there is any info that I need to provide to help identify the issue please let me know.

    Ok, just installed the plugin on a different site and it seems to be working with the same api key.
    On the site where I need to use the plugin I’ve deactivated all other plugins and switch to a WP default theme and the plugin still doesn’t retrieve my Lists from Mailchimp.

    Can it be a domain specific issue? or might there be issues caused by the host config that show no errors?

    Also I tried clearing the API Cache, didn’t helped and it didn’t make any difference.

    Some Extra info:
    I’ve deactivated and deleted the plugin, after reinstalling it when I add my api key it doesn’t show me connected any more… I’m starting to think it’s a webserver issue

    I encounter the exact same problem and would really like an urgent reply….

    Hi,

    The issue most likely lies at the server level and thus is out of our control. I would recommend checking your servers error logs, if you need an urgent resolution.

    No errors logged on the server. It’s hosted on godaddy, any suggestions?

    My guess is that the server you are hosted on has been black listed by MailChimp. This generally happens on shared hosts. Maybe reach out to them and inquire about the issue.

    Update, all of a sudden, the lists are shown. Some weird Gremlin, I suppose. ??

    @jnhghy, are the 2 sites on the same server? What host are they on?

    Hi, I have the same website live and “development” on the same host, both sites show the same issue, I have a 3rd copy of the site on my local server where the plugin works without issues.

    The live site is hosted with resellers panel (not sure if this is the name of the host or if it’s another intermediar) as a quick fix I’ve ended up running a custom embeded form from mailchimp (it works) with which I have layout and content issues but they seem acceptable at this point.

    I’ll check the server logs to see what new info they give tomorrow, hopefully it’s just a server setting that I can tweak and get the plugin working again.
