• Since 14th April I had the following issues:
    – I’ve been unable to log-in to my Admin page
    – When I try to reset the password, my email address is not recognised (“There is no user registered with that email address”);
    – My user name is recognised, but the confirmation email is being sent to another email account (i.e one that does not belong to me)
    – As my User Name/Password is not recognised, I couldn’t log in to this support forum (unless I created a new User Name)

    Is there any way I can fit my log in issue or gain access to my Dashboard?

  • 1. Access the database thru phpMyAdmin on your server
    2. Click the wp_users table
    3. Locate your user_login and click the edit pencil to the left
    4. Type your user_pass
    5. Set the function to MD5
    6. Press the GO button
    7. Login to your blog with your password

    Hi Luke, That worked… My deepest appreciation.

    Do you know what may have caused the error? Was my site hacked? Is there a way I can avoid this in the future?
