Unable to replace/remove basic questions

I am unable to replace the messages shown in the image below:
MessagesPlease note, that it doesn’t matter if I use the plugin, or place the code after the body opening tag – the result is the same. But since the plugin is officially developed by Meta, I guess you should be able to help us resolve that mystery!
