I just updated my plugin and now can’t rename my photos. I get the following error: “file name or extension is missingFile renaming error!” I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating, also tried to rename other photos and get the same message.

    Hi @lisarcat,
can you tell me which kind of renaming are you using (single file rename, bulk rename, rename from post, …)?

I need to replicate the issue to address it, can you tell me which other plugins are you using?

    Thank you for reporting.

I’m sorry to interfere, but since update, my photo’s don’t load correctly anymore. The uploads are not putting the dot between the name and the extension. Renaming does not help. Disabling Phoenix Media Rename is the only solution. Ik get the same message as Lisa.

Thanks for the quick response! I upload one photo at a time and then rename. I actually think the issue occurred with uploading. Once I changed back to an older version of Phoenix Media Rename, I then had to delete my newly added photos and upload them again before I could successfully rename them. My other main plugins are Jetpack, W3 Total Cache, Wordfence Security, and Yoast SEO.

    Hi all,
I just released version 3.10.5 that fixes the upload issue (and updated the test protocol to avoid more similar issues)

    Thank you for reporting!
