Unable to remove sidebar widget block

  • I wanted to remove the sidebar widget block on a web page, but it’s displaying an error message. I was not the person who created this website, so I’m a little lost. I am not very familiar with the Widget Blocks plugin. The YouTube videos I’ve watched on the subject don’t seem to work for me. On Appearance > Widgets page, there aren’t any widgets listed under the sidebar section.

  • Your site appears to be using a premium theme. Have you reached out to the theme authors’ support?

    First, try what @sallyinstc mentioned. If your theme’s developers can’t/won’t help, it is possible to manually edit the PHP yourself. Go to appearance >> customize themes >> then click on the sidebar/widgets option.
