Unable to remove Powered by MobileMonkey

    I previously linked MobileMonkey via this plugin on my wordpress, however I uninstalled without removing connection.

    The Powered by MobileMonkey has stucked on my FB Page messenger for a very long time.

    What I did:
    1. I connected to my Facebook page via plugin, disconnect. Cannot resolve.
    2. I connected to my Facebook page via app.mobilemonkey, refresh connection and disconnect. Still cannot resolve.

    I also tried the method stated here:

    I connected it on app.mobilemonkey, connected plugin to FB page, then click disconnect from app.mobilemonkey, but the Powered by MobileMonkey is still there!

    Please help.

    Thanks for the info.

    I see that the page is disconnected at the moment, can you please connect the page back to MobileMonkey, and then I’ll be able to remove the link.

    The Powered by MobileMonkey is not removed only in case you disconnected the page with a failed token.

    Please also make sure when connecting back you give full permissions, this makes the token valid and will allow removing the link from your page.

    Once done, please message here or to [email protected] with the same info.

    Hi! Thank you for assisting me!

    I have connected my Facebook page by logging in my app.mobilemonkey with my personal Facebook account, and connect the page now.

    The Facebook connection status shows CONNECTED now in Setting > Maintenance.

    Can you please check?

    @harmonive thanks for connecting the page.
    Unfortunately, this is a Facebook bug, I just made a request to remove a link and the Get Started button and FB responds with success but fails to remove it from User Interface.

    I logged a bug to Facebook, here is where you can see the progress https://developers.facebook.com/support/bugs/345789290265568/

    Please do not detach the page from MobileMonkey until then, as the bug report contains information about the token that is only valid while the page is connected.

    No worries about the bot, I turned it off so it will never respond to your visitors.

    Btw just to also update that I’ve connected my FB page with Manychats, so all the automated messages are from Manychats instead of Mobile Monkey.

    Facebook has fixed the issue and the Powered By MobileMonkey link has been removed.
