Unable to remove Google Fonts

I am trying to remove google fonts from my site. I did all the steps required in this guide.

All the text in my website is now locally hosted, but just after the <style> tag in the header, there is a link to fonts.googleapis.com

I even used a plugin and some other snippets of code, but it still appears there (and annoyingly has a long loading time). Please advise. Perhaps this isn’t the themes fault but i do not believe i have any plugins that might require Google Fonts.
