Can you please copy it from this file?
And paste it in Step 1 > save.

Is the theme you are using a premium theme?
If the code above still does not work and you have a premium theme, then you should have the option to remove that copyright text directly from the theme’s settings. I recommend reaching out to the theme’s support team in order to help because you have paid for this theme and should benefit from support.

I would’ve tested this plugin and the codes I sent above but I could not find the free version of this theme, and could not test in order to help.
