• I am running v3.1.9.2 of WP-Members and have noticed strange behaviour on my site.

The Registration page which I had previously customised is suddenly showing the default fields for new members – Address 1, Address 2, City, etc. – which I had previously removed.

A custom field which I had added, is no longer present.

In the WP backend, I can see the custom field on the All Users page – but it is not present in the Settings > WP-Members > Fields page. I am unable to uncheck the Display and Required fields for the default fields I no longer want displayed in the frontend – when I click Apply, the settings are reset. No error is displayed.

Do you have any suggestions as to what might be causing this/how to rectify it please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

If the stored value for the custom fields does not load from the wp_options table, the plugin has a process for reapplying the default fields. If something failed in loading or something in the setting was corrupted, that could be what initially caused the custom field you had to no longer display in the fields tab.

To save your settings, you have to select “Save Settings” from the bulk menu, then click Apply. If you just click Apply, there’s no action to be applied. If your changes are not being saved, make sure you are selecting the action before clicking apply.
