    Hello folks,

After I played around my WP site (installed plugins, etc), I noticed that the address has been added /168/:. My website is frhotels.net and if you go to that site, notice that it adds /168/: to the domain so it would now appear https://frhotels.net/168/: on the browser.
Already reverted back the things I did but couldn’t get rid of /168/: on the site address.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi govpatel,

Thanks but still no good. What’s selected in my Permalink settings is custom structure and I have “/%postname%/:” set there. Tried choosing default but it’s giving me a 404 error when I go the site.

Also, in Settings>General, I have https://frhotels.net in both wordpress address and site address.

You should have /%postname%/ no : change and save

you mean “/%postname%/” only? no good. I just tried it but it’s giving me now the custom 404 page. I remember I installed all in one SEO pack right before I encountered this but already deactivated that and uninstalled it but still couldn’t get rid of the issue.

did you try deactivate all plugins and see that solves the problem

on your page did you check the url see if you have /168/: take it out if you have it

it works! there’s this “redirection” plugin that I deactivated and that took away the /168/:. Thanks govpatel! more power to you..

    You are welcome
