• Hi,

The company I work for has a website that they took down about a year ago. They still own the domain, however when attempting to access the “wp-admin” page, it won’t load.

Is there a way for them to still access the site and it’s contents in order to relaunch it? If so, how?

    Thank you!

    1. Are you sure there’s still a WordPress installation there?

    2. What exactly happens when you go to wp-admin? If you see any errors, please quote them.

I’m actually unsure. I’m new so I’ve never actually worked with the site in question. Is there a way to test that?

When I go to the wp-admin page, it reads “This website is temporarily unavailable, please try again later.”.

You’ll need to access the server via SFTP, FTP, or a file manager in the hosting account’s control panel to see if there are any files there first.

Do you know who the hosting provider is?

    GoDaddy I believe

Ok, you’ll need access to that hosting account to continue, so I recommend contacting GoDaddy about that.
