Hello I have a problem with your plugin.

This generated an error that showed me 502 bad gateways on every page of my site.
So I uninstalled them and now when I want to reinstall (manually or automatically)
    this message appeared:
The site encounters technical difficulties. Please check your site administrator’s inbox for instructions.
I tried to delete its directory in the plugins folder but it does not change anything always impossible to install.
    How to do?

    Thank you

Hi there, do you have a screenshot of the 502 bad gateway error, please?

If your site is using Cloudflare, they had a network issue yesterday which caused all sites using their service to go down for a short while. You can find more info about this here: https://techcrunch.com/2019/07/02/a-cloudflare-outage-is-impacting-sites-everywhere/

If you don’t use Cloudflare, and hence this wasn’t the cause, please let us know exactly what you were doing before and when this happened.

Is it still happening now? Have you been able to re-gain access to your site since?

Unfortunately, the problem was present for about 2 weeks. (my site was unusable I fall directly on error 502)
So I renamed the plugin directory of my wordpresse to disable all plugins.
I then tested all the plug-ins, it turned out that the plug-in that systematically creates the error 502 was yours …

So I wanted to uninstall it and reinstall it.
Only I feel that the uninstall is wrong and I can not reinstall it …
Currently, my site is working properly except that I no longer install your plugin but I do not know why …
I would like to know how to install it without falling on this message during the installation: The site presents technical difficulties. Please check your site administrator’s inbox for instructions.

    Thank you

@markzahra can you help me reinstall your plugin please?

@axellle1 Of course. Let’s start by trying to install the latest version, which is version 4.14 that was released just yesterday.

If you are unable to install the latest version as well, then check the inbox for the email account used by your administrator. WordPress should have sent an email that contains details about the error that is preventing you from installing the plugin. Send us a copy of that error and we’ll take a look at it to figure out why this is happening for you.

    Hello
I tried to install the new version.
It ends with “a failure of the update” while it is an installation !!

He told me that I had received information about the error by mail, but that I had not received any mail …

Despite the fact that its installation is badly finished, it is displayed in the menu of the installed extension and when I want to activate it, I get this error:

Warning: require_once(/home/vol2_6/byethost33.com/b33_23305870/axel-laville.ml/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-aggregator/includes/autoload.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/vol2_6/byethost33.com/b33_23305870/axel-laville.ml/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-aggregator/wp-rss-aggregator.php on line 181

I tried to delete it and reinstall it but it’s still the same problem (even delete its directory found in the “plugin” directory)

@axellle1 The error message is basically saying that the plugin has missing files that it requires. How are you attempting to installing? Are you uploading a zip file or installing it through WordPress directly? The latter option is usually preferred since it’s a download instead of an upload, which typically reduces the chance of failure.

I tried both solutions and the result is the same.

There must be a trace of a file that was not deleted correctly due to a bad uninstallation and it blocks the new installations

problem solved, I uploaded the manaquing file to ftp and the plugin works again

@axellle1 I’m glad that solved the problem for you. Was it only that 1 file that caused the problem?

yes the server had to interrupt the installation because the plugin is quite heavy. so I just had to fill in the plugin folder with the missing files and the plugin worked
