This morning, my team got a prompt to upgrade our plugins, which they did without researching potential problems with Ultimate Member. It’s something we do each day. After that upgrade, we lost 3 months of updates and hundreds of hours of work on our site. I had my hosting company restore the back up from last night, which was well before the update to Ultimate Member. After that restore, we still don’t have our files restored. I’m at a point of getting our attorneys involved. We don’t have the resources to redo 3 months worth of work. We need your help ASAP to restore these files. Please response as soon as possible. This is ridiculous and has the ability to put a company out of business.

  • Wow, sorry to hear about your issues! Do you happen to use a backup plugin like UpdraftPlus?

Can you provide more specifics? Which files can’t you restore? What updates have you lost (I’m assuming these are page/post updates).

did you make a SQL backup of everything? or make a backup through hosting (siteground.com) or (wpengine.com)

if you have these hosts i would be willing to deploy the last good install (backup point) prior to today. please email @ [email protected]

i assume all the database files are fine , it is the custom work done from another Developer|Designer. (files) broken or lost.

also have you tried the rollback plugin to rollback to 1.33 UM?

@txpmr, the backup files are from Backup Buddy. I had my hosting company do a restore using a complete site backup (before the update of the plugin) but the lost files and users were not restored. If you can help me try this again, I would be grateful. This is 3-months-worth of work that is lost and devastating to our company.

I also tried the rollback of the plugin (as requested above) but that did not work.

@calumallison, I did enter the details on your sales site.
