Unable to put image in Restriction message

  • Hi,

    it’s impossible to put images, divs, line break, etc in the “Restriction message” field.
    When I click on save button, every tags disappears (except strong tag).

    Can you give me a tip to avoid this bug ?

    An idea :
    This field is filtered with wp_kses function, and $allowedtags parameter.

    Possible to add tags only for this field ?

    Thanks for pointing this out, I’m going to open up an issue thread at github for this plugin where it could be discussed what kind of filtering could be done on this field (issue opened here: https://github.com/10up/restricted-site-access/issues/38). It’s not possible by default to add the images because it is filtered with wp_kses and $allowedtags like you pointed out.

    It may well be a good idea to allow filtering in this field that more closely matches the filtering done on other post content fields. So changing the $allowedtags to $allowedposttags might be an option.
