    The order status is yellow “On hold”, but when I click it and change it to “processing” and Update the page it looks like it’s been saved and the status on the dropdown shows “processing”, but in reality it’s not saved — when I go back to the Orders page it’s still yellow “On hold”.

    The problem seems to be from WooCommerce plugin. There is no detail mentioned to our plugin function in your described problem.

    What if you deactivate our plugin and test the same with other WooCommerce orders?
