Unable to post to Buffer from Chrome after 4.61 upgrade

Posts are buffered from main site of a multisite single domain blog network.
I am unable to post to Buffer after upgrade to WordPress 4.61. I get the thin red line and blank box. WP to Buffer version 3.0.4. Post is fine on site.
I have tried disconnecting and re-registering from Chrome: managed to get green bar once, then has failed. Now fails even after re-registering. I am on the Awesome Buffer account.
Using “{title} {url} {excerpt}” for post, have had no trouble since my original upgrade months ago with same set-up.Not sure if the debug.log is helpful, hope so.

I have the exact same problem on WordPress 4.61 too.
It’s not a multi-site, just a regular wordpress installation with wp to buffer extension
The posts don’t appear in Buffer either, and I get the thin red line and blank box whenever I post and update a post (when the extension should submit it to buffer).
I can provide more informations, or access to the wp for the app developers if needed.

PS : My WP setup uses HTTPS, don’t know if that changes anything.
Buffer’s API for Twitter changed, meaning that if you attempt to send a tweet that’s longer than 140 characters, it will fail.
Previously, Buffer would truncate and resolve this without failing, ensuring all statuses would go through.
Two options:
1. We will investigate whether we can send statuses to each network individually, without impacting on performance. Should Twitter’s status fail, others would then work
2. The Pro version allows you to specify status messages per social media account. For example, you could specify a shorter Twitter update and a default, longer, Facebook update.
