• Since the update to WP-Filebase Version 0.3.0.05, I am not able to use the visual editor for posts or pages in WP nor post or edit on our Forum. There are no edit icons and the area where the content would normally be is blank. The text based editor still works in WP. This only affects the administrator account, all other accounts work fine. If I deactivate Filebase, log out, log back in again, all the post/edit functions work again.
Any idea how to fix this?

I’ve also just discovered I’m unable to edit existing file uploads or add any new files using WP-Filebase.
If I try to edit I am faced with a blank page, if I click on add new nothing happens.
The previous version worked but prevented NextGen Gallery from working.
I tried deactivating NextGen but to no avail even after clearing the page cache and logging out and back in again.
    Any ideas?

This problem is still outstanding and is now becoming a big problem for me.
As stated before I am unable to use the Visual editor in WP, not too much of a problem as I can use the text editor but the problem also affect the Forum at the site in that I cannot post or edit anything (only affects administrator, all other members are unaffected). I can upload files using FTP and set Filebase to sync as a workaround but I am unable to edit existing file details, the page is blank.
I see someone else has the same problem with Filebase Pro a few months ago.
Is there any solution in sight?

I am having the same problem. If I have WP-Filebase activated, I cannot see anything in the visual editor. As soon as I deactivate it, the visual editor works perfectly.

I am running version 0.3.0.06 of wp-filebase and WordPress 3.9.1.

The problem only occurs in Internet Explorer, which (of course) is all my client has.

Any help would be very appreciated.

The person that built our site looked at it for us and found it was the result of an update that didn’t complete correctly but reported no errors.
He renamed the WP-Filebase folder and installed a fresh copy and all now works OK.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response. I’ll give that a try and see if that clears it up. My fingers are crossed!
