    Hi there

    I have an ecommmerce store integrated into my wordpress website – uptechsoho.co.za

    • I have previously been able to add products. and everything worked fine.
    • I can no longer add products – it says a server 500 issue every time I try to add products.
    • I have disabled all plugins one by one – still doesn’t work.
    • I have tried using storefront as my theme, still doesn’t work.

    Please help….

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I understand that you are encountering a server 500 error when trying to add new products, is this correct?

    A 500 server error, is a general HTTP status code that means something has gone wrong on the server, but the server could not be more specific on what the exact problem is.

    To clarify, does this also occur when editing existing products, or only when adding new products?

    Since we can rule out any theme/plugin conflicts, as a next steps lets see if rebuilding your .htaccess makes any difference.

    Can you head over to?Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks, and resave your existing settings, without making any changes to the settings?

    Should the issue persist, I’d like to have a better understanding of your sites current environment. Please can you share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.
    • Screenshot: Please share a screenshot of the 500 server error you are seeing on your end.
