Unable to post new jobs on our job leads page. “Jobs Add New” allows us to fill in the Job Data fields, but in the area where we write the job description under the Position (post title), neither classic editor nor block editor is visible.

Even on job postings previously listed with the job description already published, if we go to edit it will not let us edit body of the post. It give us the option to “unlock” the classic editor block. Even when we unlock it, it does not do anything.

When we post a job without the body text (description of the job), if we try to go back and edit this message appears at page top: “The content of your post doesn’t match the template assigned to your post type.” There are 2 options: “Keep it as is” or “Reset the template”. Clicking either one does not solve the issue.

    WordPress: Current version: 6.0.1
Theme: WP Astra – version 3.8.2

This is for a nonprofit community-based organization that provides job listings and helps people find jobs for free. It is very active. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • It’s likely that another plugin or the theme is causing the issue–have you tried doing a conflict test to see? Here’s how you can do one (just follow the steps as if it was for WP Job Manager, instead of WooCommerce): https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts

    Hi @sberman

As mentioned by @hastibe, please try to run a conflict test and see if it works with WordPress and WP Job Manager alone.

Let me know how it goes!

Unable to post new jobs on our job leads page. – This issue is now resolved. It was a plugin conflict with YouTube Embed Plus. Have addressed the issue with that developer.

“The content of your post doesn’t match the template assigned to your post type.” – This was an issue also. May have been corrected with the plugin conflict resolved. Will post separate if so.

Thanks so much for the support!!!!
