Unable to play m4v video files

First of all the native video addition is great but I have one problem.

With the mp4 format everything works great and I can see how handy this new capability will be.

My only problem is that I am unable to play or view m4v video files, which from what I can tell is supposed to be one of the formats that 3.6 would support.
