Unable to parse special characters

This is probably because of the censoring I have in the plugin. There could potentially be one option that I can think of.

You could filter get_bsearch_query to just return get_search_query() so basically bypassing the filters and censors.

If you’re not interesting in displaying the top searches, this could be a route to take.
