Overall, I’m really happy with VP and the functionality that it provides.

However one issue that I have is that I would like to use the updated title of each image (set in the individual image within the VP block) as the title both below the image on the web page and in the pop-up gallery:

https://visualportfolio.co/documentation/portfolio-blocks/content-source/images/#title-and-description reads to me as though these updated titles are used in preference to any Media Library settings.

The only way I can show the title set in the VP block is to set the format of the “Titles Source” to “Custom” as using “Image Title” in this field displays the filename (i.e. default image title in the Media Library).

In pop-up view, there is no way I can see to use the updated title. The option “Image Title” in the “Items Click Action” always uses the default image title in the Media Library so I’ve had to leave that field as “none” for now.

WP5.8 with VP2.13.1 (free version). Accessed via Firefox 90.0.2 running on Windows 10
