    HI,
I installed the plugin and after setting it I am now trying to optimize the images with the integrated function.
Unfortunately, every time I try to convert an image it gives me the message “Failed to retrieve a response. Please reload the page to try again”.

I’ve tried several times but since this morning it doesn’t seem to resolve itself.
Does it depend on some of my settings? Or is there a service overhead?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @guz92

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!

You should check the debug and see if the allowed memory was exceeded and increase the memory in this case.
This can cause Failed to retrieve a response. Please reload the page to try again, however some other problems may be that some server configuration or some other plugin can block the requests.
To check this, open the console>network tab and start the conversion () bulk or a? single image) If the use see the 404 request for the ajax call, something in the configuration may be preventing this.
On the other hand, this may be simply the problem with the number of requests to the API server. If there are a lot of requests some of them may timeout, and also the Pro users move in queue

You may also want to check if you have some security plugin taht may be causing this, and make sure that permalinks are not set to “plain”
Please make sure also that you are not using any other image optmization plugin for this, and check your .htaccess file to make sure taht there are no reweite conditions that may conflict the W3TC webp rules.

    Thanks!

    Hello @vmarko,

I am also getting the same error. The memory limit is 2048 MB and I’m using a pro subscription. The AJAX call gives the following error message with the status code “500 Internal Server Error”:

    {“success”:false,”data”:{“code”:500,”error”:”Error: Received a non-200 response code: 500″,”status”:”error”,”time”:1717590482}}

Yesterday, everything worked out just fine.

    Hello @mraassin

    Thank you for your feedback.
We are having a big load on the API server at the moment. We are addressing this as we speak.
    Thank you for your patience.

Thank you. I wouldn’t mind if there was enough capacity reserved especially for Pro users who have paid for the service.
