• I am a beginner and I have successfully completed the new WordPress installation. I had tried both methods with the c-panel tool and manually. But whenever I try to open the login page it not opening it just keeps showing a blank page with a dialog box of username and password. If I cancel that dialog box it gave me this message

“ATTENTION: You need to provide |:| USERNAME: admin |:| PASSWORD: admin |:| to see the actual WordPress Admin Login-Area page. This has to prevent WordPress Bruteforce Attack on your Website. Thank You! — SYS. ADMIN….”

which username and pass does this required because I already tried my WordPress username and password and it’s not working

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Your hosting set additional (HTTP auth) protection for your /wp-admin/
You can ask your webhosting support about details.

You can (possibly) remove this protection by deleting /wp-admin/.htaccess file
(yes, its in /wp-admin/ , not in site root)

there are no .htaccessfile in wp-admin and check this link https://lovekarmapassion.com/wp-login.php

Often system admins add htaccess password protection in root folder above
public_html in folder by the name .htpasswds/public_html

You can check there as well. It’s best to check with your developer as it seems the login page has been secured with one extra layer of protection.

    Thanks
