I renamed the folder but as far as I know, it’s still broken.

Hi @krisbethea, thanks for opening a support topic and sharing the error you are seeing as well as the steps you have tried so far. To help you with this further, please could you share the following:

    1. Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred.
    2. Have you tried removing the Site Kit directory(wp-content/plugins/google-site-kit) via FTP or your website hosting control panel and tried to install and activate/setup the plugin once more?
    3. Did this happen when first trying to install Site Kit or did you already have the plugin working and running?

Once you have shared the above information then I can help suggest some further steps if you are still facing these issues. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

    #2 made it work again.

#3. It happened after an auto update. I will be turning off auto updates.. LOL

    Thanks!

@krisbethea Glad to hear that removing the Site Kit directory and re-installing/activating has worked for you. It sounds like there was an issue with the auto-update which may just have been a one off.

If you run into any issues with Site Kit in future then please don’t hesitate to reach out, thanks!
