I am attempting to setup a FB feed for a page that is using the New Pages Experience. If I add the page to the list of pages I am giving SlickRemix access to, the whole list of pages disappears from the list on the Facebook Feed options. All of my other pages are using Classic and as long as I don’t enable the one using New Pages I can generate a token no problem. So I believe the issue is related to the New Pages Experience, is anyone else experiencing this? Switching them back to Classic is unfortunately not an option.

    Hi @lorenz90,

We believe this has been resolved. If you are having issues, please try the following steps:

Delete the FTS free version plugin. Then re-install.

    1) Make sure that you have been granted admin privileges by the FB Business Page owner or another Page admin. One recent FB caveat is, that you now need to be “FB Friends” with whomever will be granting you these admin privileges. Also, sometimes only ‘editor’ or other partial privileges are granted, please be sure they are granting you full ‘admin’ privileges.

    2) Once that has been confirmed, in WordPress, make sure you are running the latest FTS version (currently 2.9.6.5). In WordPress, if you are running any caching plugins, manually clear those. Also, in your browser, make sure you are not running any FB blocking extensions (like FB Container in Firefox for example).

    3) In a separate browser tab, open Facebook and log out of your FB account.

    4) Log back into your personal FB account, and, in your personal FB account, go to settings > Business Integrations and click to *remove SlickRemix. Then return to WP, Feed Them > Facebook Options and click the banner/button and go through the prompts again. Make sure you are logging in through your personal FB account and not the FB Business Page. (*note: this will disconnect any of your other managed sites using FTS as well and will need to be reconnected and new shortcode generated for other sites).

    5) When the prompts begin, click the ‘edit settings’ to the left of your name in blue.

    6) Check the box(s) for the FB Business Page you want and agree to the settings.

    7) When the prompts return you to WP, click the banner for your intended FB Page and then click the ‘Save’ button that appears.

    8) Go to Feed Them > Settings to generate a new shortcode for your intended page.

    9) Copy/paste and replace your old shortcode. After you update/publish, clear the FTS cache so the changes can take effect.

If these steps have not resolved your issue, you will need to double check and confirm step 1, without the proper granted FB permissions, none of the following steps will work.

If the above steps have not resolved your issue, please send us your most recent shortcode & system info (from Feed Them > System Info) to our support team: support@ slickremix.com (*also, please close the gap on the email address before sending).

    Best regards

    Hi @curlypinky @lorenz90,

While previously addressed, new issues have prompted another update. Our developers have just pushed an update to address Facebook’s “New Page Experience” issue. Please update the Feed Them Social free plugin to version 2.9.7 and then try again to gain a FB access token. The update should resolve this issue.

    Best regards,
