Hello, I am trying to get a backup with backwpup.

I am trying to get a backup with backwpup.

    When I run it manually.

job started but did not respond for 10 seconds.

and the backup was not created, I added define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true); to wp-config.php.

I can now manually create backups, but if I specify a time and run it, the next run will be “January 1, 1970” at the specified time. Before the specified time, the date specified is displayed as “October , 2023”.

How can I make it possible to get automatic backups?

    Hi @sekiguchi

So I think there is something wrong with your cron system, you can contact the hoster and tell them to take a look at the issue or you can manually trigger the job to run with a link and then pass the link to a real cron system or on site like cron-job.org.

To setup run job with a link, please go to job -> Schedule tab -> Start job choose with a link.

i hope my answer could help!

    Thank you for your response.
It seems that the error occurred because we were running on a dummy domain created for testing purposes.
When we ran it on a legitimate domain, it worked fine.
    I should have checked more.
    Thank you very much.
