Unable To Make It Work In Theme Mode

I’ve been going through the documentation for the last few days and unable to really understand how to alter existing styles even something as simple as changing body background color is not working.

About the Setup:-
– I’ve created a custom WordPress theme from scratch.
– I’ve implemented OptionTree in Theme Mode by referring to this article (https://cyberspacecreator.com/how-to-integrate-option-tree-in-wordpress-theme/)
– In admin panel, I can view under Appearance > Theme Options & there is another OptionTree menu with Settings/Documentation.
– I’ve added dynamic.css stylesheet and linked it to the theme and changed the file permission to 777
– Other plugins that I’ve installed in the theme is > Custom Sidebars, Disable WPAUTOP.

I tried the deomo_background example to change the body background color but it’s not working. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me understand how to add just few customization options in OptionTree like:-
1) – Change body background color.
2) – Change H Tags text color.
3) – Change background color of a button with a specific class.
