Unable to login to staging site

    I know that the staging site can only be accessed by users with Admin privileges.

    I tried to log in to the working staging site using a user with Subscriber privileges. This failed as expected.

    But now the Admin login fails. The login screen briefly shows the Subscriber user name then returns to the Admin name which again fails and flips back to the Subscriber name.

    I’ve cleared my browser cache but that does not help. So I have no way to access the staging site.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    please delete your browser cookies and try again.

    If this still not work rename via FTP the plugin folder wp-content/plugins/wp-staging to something else.

    This will disable the WP staging plug-in and allows you accessing the production website.

    Please let me know if you have any other questions or need more information.

    It was a cookie issue.
