Hello everyone,

I would like to inquire about the recent error I got when logging into admin dashboard wp-admin of my WordPress website, caused by the plugin Google Sitemap Generator.

The detailed error indicated as follows:

Currently I am unable to access the admin dashboard to navigate to the plugin or any sections for testing and configuration. All I got was the error announcement.

I have also tried accessing via recovery mode provided by WordPress and got into the dashboard interface, but when I click on any of the sections, they all redirect me to the homepage of my website.

Thus, I would much appreciate your time and support for looking into this problem and advising me with any solutions.

Hi @ttran18 this issue is surprising to see. Can you use SSH/FTP or your webhosting portal to rename our plugin’s directory/folder to temporarily deactivate it? That should put everything back to normal.

Hi @auctollo, thank you for your kind reply.

I have tried your advices, however when deactivating the plugin from our host portal, I manage to access and scroll around the interface of the dashboard, but I cannot navigate between sections or access into plugin pages to find and adjust the plugins.

And when I try to access the “Add new” section under Plugins page, the site leads to an announcement: “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” (See attached). But I have not received any email from WordPress indicating the detailed error.?The URL of this is wp-admin/plugin-install.php

This discussion was taken offline. We learned that the issue isn’t our plugin specifically and we are troubleshooting issues to get underlying problems resolved.
