unable to login as admin

  • I’m the webmaster of a non profit organization and the website is sdsps.org and I’m unable to login to my site as admin all of a sudden. I tried to get the site to email me the password using both email address and username but the site returns the following:

    The e-mail could not be sent.
    Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.

    Is the host site the same as the server? I do not have access to the server.

    Please help!

    Thanks. Is the owner of the server the cause of my inability to log in? I know who owner is and had sent email a few days back and hadn’t heard from him.

    Yes, Server owner can disable your login.

    Is there a way I can verify that the Server owner disabled the login?
    I don’t want to presume this is the case. I don’t believe this owner would have done this unless he did by accident perhaps for an unrelated reason. He has other things on same server.

    I have recently changed my url and now I cannot log in to my admin site. Would appreciate any advice on how to solve this problem.

    My URL was harpdistributors.com and I changed it to harpdistributors.net. I have made the necessary changes on the host server but I think it is because wordpress doesn’t recognize the .net.

    As I can see your theme is serving from .com. What did you changed?

    I’m having the same problem — I am the site admin and am unable to log in. Worked with Bluehost yesterday and thought we had the problem fixed but it’s back again today. website is publicsafetyexcellence.net.
