Unable to log into admin

  • Hi there,

    I am unable to log in to my site https://www.richfulcher.com to make any updates.

    I am trying the address “https://www.richfulcher.com/wp-admin/” but get the error message “Not found. The requested URL /wp-admin/ was not found on this server.” I had previously been affected by the security issue, and had contacted my host daily.co.uk and as far as I’m aware that issue is now resolved. However I am still not able to log in, and Daily suggested I ask for help here.

    Can anyone advise please?

    As I can see, your site is not a WordPress Site, its a simple php based site.

    Hi, thank you very much for your prompt response. hmmm… I guess that would explain why I can’t log in. Are you sure it is not WordPress? It definitely was originally but I did hire someone else to do some work on it for me a year or so ago so perhaps he changed it. I just seem to recall that I was still logging in via wordpress, but I suppose it has been over a year since I went into it so maybe I’m mistaken.

    Hmm… my praise of the Crack Fox seems to have been removed. Perhaps too far afield from the matter at hand. At any rate, looking through the Wayback machine, it seems your site went from being WordPress to a custom job at the end of 2010/start of 2011

    Thanks for sticking your neck out, you will be rewarded in crack fox heaven! I am getting in touch with the guy who worked on my site. Thanks for helping me clear it up!
