Wordfence locked me out of my site. I was advised to install Wordfence on 1 of my sites now it won’t let me log in. I’ve tried to reset the password and now it says the site isn’t configured properly, when it previously worked fine. I tried to rename the Wordfence folder but it won’t let me do that. The only option left seems to be through MYSQL, but that’s not something I can do as I don’t have the skills to do it. Any suggestions please?

I need to fix this as my contact form has stopped working.

    Hi Gerroald,

    Many thanks for responding.

Yes, fortunatly a found from a backup that I had another admin account and was able to log in and resolve the issue, so all is sorted now.

I really think they should advise installing Wordfence can lock you out of your site unless you have a very strong password already.

    Best wishe

    Paul
