    Hello MiniOrange,

Today I had a problem logging into my dashboard.

So I SFTP’d into my plugin folder and renamed the miniorange-2-factor-authentication plugin as miniorange-2-factor-authentication.hold.

I logged in again, and this time I was able to access my dashboard. I went back to my files and change the miniOrange plugin name back to it’s regular name and then updated your plugin. I then logged out, and then logged in, and had the same problem.

Any idea as to why this is happening and how to fix it?

    Thanks,
    M-J

p.s. I have been using your plugin for a month – so it was working for a while.

    Hi,
Can you tell us which plugin version are you using currently ?
Are you able to see Two factor screen after entering username / password ?
What is the exact error message you are getting ?
Let us know these details, so that we can help you debug the issue.

    Hi miniOrange,

I have removed it (temporarily) due to the conflict.

I was using v3.7 it caused the initial login issue. Once I was able to get in (by rendering it null) I saw it needed an update. So I updated to 3.8 (newest version) but I had the same problem.

No. I was not able to see anything to do with the Two factor screen. It displayed the WordPress login error box just as if I had used the wrong username or password.

If it helps I will “reactivate” the plugin in order to help debug.

    Thanks for your help.
