• Can anyone please provide help, and if possible a fix for the following? (And please provide it in layman’s language?)

I was recently asked to “Moderate” a comment posted on my blog but when I went to log-in I received the message:

“Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/bimbling/public_html/wp-content/plugins/twitter/widget_twitter_vjck.php:77) in /home/bimbling/public_html/wp-login.php on line 368”

This follows some recent activity installing updates to my plug-ins.

    Thanks in anticipation.

  • Hi SailingGypsy,

Have you had the chance to look at the following Codex article: How do I solve the Headers already sent warning problem?.

It could also be a problem with the Twitter plugin. You can temporarily deactivate it manually by either using your hosting control panel file manager or ftp to temporarily rename the plugin folder into another name. After that, try logging on to your dashboard. If that works, you can rename the plugins folder and reactivate any plugins one by one (assuming you have more than one plugin installed).

I’m sorry. I forgot to mention that the point of the above exercise (plugin folder renaming, etc.), is to isolate the potential cause of the problem.
