• After a recent move from one server to another one of my WordPress sites does not load properly (missing two menus) and when trying to log in to ../wp-admin I am greeted with a blank white screen. Other sites created with same WordPress versions and plugins appear to be OK so I doubt its a PHP version problem, and at any rate the move was from the same php version.

Any and all help will be most appreciated

Well, a blank screen is a PHP problem. It means something is causing PHP to crash. ??

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Thanks for the information James. That did not help so I am wondering if doing a fresh WP install on a different iP the using the Duplicator plugin to copy the old site to the new install. Workable solution>

Before that, try just downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copies of everything except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget to delete the original files before replacing them.
