unable to load stories

    When I try to open my existing stories, I get an error “unable to load stories the response is not a valid json response”.

    I disabled all plugins, updated WordPress and the problem continued. Until separately disable 2 plugins (woo-payment-on-delivery / Fancy Admin UI), force the page load with Ctrl + Shift + R and it worked. But it doesn’t work without forcing the load, the stories don’t show.

    Hi there, @geahn! Thanks for your post. The error could be caused by another plugin that makes the responses invalid. I notice the issue does not occur when the Fancy Admin UI plugin is disabled, but when it is enabled it interferes with the Web Stories dashboard display. I recommend reaching out to that plugin’s support for further assistance.

    I already have news. I disabled all plugins again, just let the Web Stories and something unexpected happened. The error continues, the stories do not show. What can it be?

    @geahn Thank you for the update.

    1) Could you attempt to access the Web Stories dashboard in an incognito/ private browser window (with all other plugins disabled) and let us know if the errors persist?

    2) If possible, could you check for any browser console errors in the browser dev tools and send us a screenshot?

    3) Check if the REST API is available by navigating to Tools > Site Health > Status

    4) Who is your hosting provider and plan? Are you behind any security firewalls?

    5) Could you provide your full Site Health information also? You can share privately if you prefer.

    With these procedures I realized that the problem is only with the Fancy UI. But I’ll keep an eye on it. Thank you very much.
