Good Day

When I click on any of the “View Details” links on my front page I am taken right back to the Front page and NOT to the Sinkle Event Detail Page.

This occurred after the most recent update.

So far I have checked/done:
1. Changed WP Permalink Settings – no success
2. Changed Pretty Permalinks – turned off, then specified a different value for the SINGLE EVENTS page – no success
3. Checked the relevant pages for shortcodes – all as per the original install
4. All other pages work as expected e.g: the perfomers page – https://myza.co.za/events/performers/ , Venues, Organisers
5. It is just this page: https://myza.co.za/events/ that fails to direct to the details page when events in the calendar are clicked on

Thanks @pvnanini – you are correct – it is JUST the single events that are not displaying

We have investigated the issue on your site and identified that the problem due to URL structure. Currently, the URL being generated includes an extra single, which causes the redirection issue.

For instance, the URL being generated is:https://myza.co.za/events/single/bela-womens-day-event-with-roch-le-bloem/
However, the correct URL should be:https://myza.co.za/events/bela-womens-day-event-with-roch-le-bloem/

Please go to your WordPress Dashboard and:
- Navigate to ‘Pages -> Add New’
- Add the shortcode [em_events] to the page content and publish the page.
- Next, assign this new created page as the Events page by navigating to Events -> Settings
- Go to the Pages submenu, and in the Events Page dropdown, select the new page you just created,
- Save the changes.
This should resolve the issue.
