Unable to load media or hyperlinks

I have the same issue. I cannot post an image in a post or a page. The Add Media button does nothing. I can add images to my Library.

I found the culprit in my site: Use Google Libraries (1.6.1) plug-in. Disabling that allows adding images to posts & pages. Do you have this plug-in loaded chrisadena?

I am having the same issue. How exactly do I go about finding if i have the Google Libraries plug-in loaded?

CGWeddings: Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and look for it in the list.

chrisadena: Look for anything else that might be using a different JSON library. It’s a long shot, but do you have the Jetpack JSON API enabled? It’s disabled on my site.

Hey there, I am having the same issue as well. I check the plug ins and disabled the Google one. But still cannot upload images from my library to a slide show. Any suggestions?

I do not have the Google plug-in and am running into the same (or similar) problem. When I try to upload an image to my library, I get an HTTP error. The image appears in the library as a blank icon. Even though it shows an error, I discovered that the image does get uploaded. I can even insert it in a post, but the preview icon in the media gallery is blank. This happened after updating to WP 4.0. I’ve tried to deactivate my plug-ins but that did not help. Any other suggestion?

I am using 3.9.2 and my add media button is missing on my homepage posts. How do I get it back?

Does anyone know why my add media button would be missing from editing the home page but is available on all other pages?
