Unable to load media

Hi,

I am trying to upload a photo to my site but I am having problems.

I built the site on a test server and then moved it to the live server so no photos have been uploaded before on this server.

I am receiving the following error:

photo1.jpg has failed to upload due to an error
Unable to create directory uploads/2012/12. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I have checked the settings and even changed everything to 777 but I still can’t upload.

I am using the latest version of WordPress and the Weaver 2 theme.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can resolve this problem.
