Unable to launch WP Hide through mu-plugins/wp-hide-loader.php
Please make sure this location is writable so the plugin create the required file, or manually copy the wp-hide-security-enhancer-pro/mu-loader/wp-hide-loader.php to mu-plugins/wp-hide-loader.php.

I am working on a new to me site that has this error message across the screen in the admin.

I checked the folder and the file exists. mu-plugins/wp-hide-loader.php

How can I fix this issue?

Also what is the latest version of the PRO plugin? We currently have version 6.6 installed. Does it need to be updated? It has an active license but it is not reporting the need to be udpated.
