Unable to issue refund with woocommerce and stripe express

    Hello, when I issue a refund in woocommerce, when I believe I then have to go to my payment gateway, which is stripe express, to issue the actual refund. However I cannot see how to do this. In woocommerce I press the buttom that says ‘issue refund of ….via woocommerce payments’, but this does not actually issue a refund. When I researched this with stripe it says to go to the payments tab, but maybe its because I have stripe express, there is no payment tab?! I have absolutely no idea how to issue a refund. I also want this to be as easy as possible for me and am wondering if stripe is just not a good platform and I should use something else?

    I understand that you’re unable to issue a refund using WooCommerce for the payment gateway WooCommerce Payments, right?

    As a first step, please try the instructions on this support documentation about WooCommerce Refunds. There are two ways on how you can issue a refund: Automatic Refunds and Manual Refunds. Both of which are discussed on that support documentation.

    When I researched this with stripe it says to go to the payments tab, but maybe its because I have stripe express, there is no payment tab?

    To better picture what you are referring to here, can you please share with us a clear screenshot of what you see on your end so that we could address you more effectively?

    Additionally, for us to investigate your issue further, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
