Unable to Install Themes/Plugins or updates from wordpress website

    I have installed WordPress both through an automatic installer and manually as well but still get the below errors when trying to search or install anything from WordPress:

    Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.remarpro.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /wordpress/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php on line 77
    and other similar messages as well on different lines but seems it cannot connect to wordpress.

    I am on a webhost and have no firewall or proxy the web address is https://bgc.atspace.co.uk (which I have paid for hosting)

    I have searched the forums but haven’t found the correct solution to solve the problem. I am using newest wordpress and have used previous versions as well with the same problem

    Found it, There was a firewall option in hosting settings to enable outgoing connections.

    If anyone has any problems with atspace.com/atspace.co.uk then you would need to do this to sort out the problem above
